How I work
Family cases are heard by the court where the family, or one spouse, lives. I handle proceedings in Trieste from the Pistoia studio, attending hearings in person and holding meetings online too.
Where possible I seek an agreement, which is almost always the fastest and least painful route. Where it is not, I prepare for court with the same care.
Trieste, on the border with Slovenia, is home to the Court of Appeal and the Regional Administrative Court for Friuli Venezia Giulia, and is one of the first points of entry into Italy along the Balkan route.
