How I work
Family cases are heard by the court where the family, or one spouse, lives. I handle proceedings in Venice from the Pistoia studio, attending hearings in person and holding meetings online too.
Where possible I seek an agreement, which is almost always the fastest and least painful route. Where it is not, I prepare for court with the same care.
Venice is home to the Court of Appeal and the Regional Administrative Court for Veneto, which also cover Padua, and to one of the main ports on the Adriatic.

- A separation by agreement to formalise
- A contested divorce or separation before the Tribunale di Venezia
- A dispute over custody or child maintenance
- Changing arrangements that are already in place
- A couple where one spouse is foreign or lives abroad
