How I work

Applications go through the Questura di Roma and the Prefettura di Roma – Sportello Unico per l’Immigrazione. When a decision is negative, the deadlines to challenge it are short.

I check the requirements before every step and, if needed, challenge refusals before the competent court. I can work with you in English, Italian or Albanian.

Rome is home to the Court of Cassation, the ministries and the Lazio Regional Administrative Court, which also hears many challenges to acts of central government.

Where do I challenge a permit refusal in Rome?

Usually before the TAR Lazio (Roma), within 60 days of notification. For permits on family grounds, the ordinary court has jurisdiction instead. Check the deadline immediately on the decision you received.

Can you handle my case from Pistoia if I live in Rome?

Yes. Most of the work is done on paper and online; I arrange to attend any hearings and appointments that require it.
