How I work

Applications go through the Questura di Firenze and the Prefettura di Firenze – Sportello Unico per l’Immigrazione. When a decision is negative, the deadlines to challenge it are short.

I check the requirements before every step and, if needed, challenge refusals before the competent court. I can work with you in English, Italian or Albanian.

Florence is home to the Court of Appeal that also covers Pistoia and Prato, and to the Tuscany Regional Administrative Court. It is where Avv. Alia studied law.

Where do I challenge a permit refusal in Florence?

Usually before the TAR Toscana (Firenze), within 60 days of notification. For permits on family grounds, the ordinary court has jurisdiction instead. Check the deadline immediately on the decision you received.

Can you handle my case from Pistoia if I live in Florence?

Yes. Most of the work is done on paper and online; I arrange to attend any hearings and appointments that require it.
